When you think of iconic supermodels and their makeup collaborations, you shouldn’t have too hard before you get to Kate Moss and her collaborations with Rimmel London. In fact, this year marks her 15th anniversary with the brand and to celebrate, they’ve released some special edition products based on her most notable looks!

On the 8th of June, I won tickets to Cosmopolitan & Forever New’s VIP Shopping Experience in Canal Walk and throughout that evening, they took us through some of the major trends for this season. Two of them that really got me good were bodysuits and the colour maroon (it probably had to do with Marsala being Pantone’s Colour Of The Year last year ?). View Post
have you ever looked through your parents’ photo albums from back in the day? i have, and i’m proud to say my parents were pretty swag. they posed nonchalantly by trees or cars, with their jerry curls (mom) and their afros (dad), and took polaroids from parties that are now stuck between the flaps of the album pages… and when polaroid cameras became cool again thanks to you darn hipsters, i just knew that i had to have one and make my own memories.
while i was indulging in a belated #throwbackthursday last night, i kept thinking about how i haven’t taken a decent selfie in a while (ever since i broke my iphones back camera focus, to be exact. even though selfies are with the front camera, but whatever). and i couldn’t just take a selfie, so i set up the tripod in the late afternoon and had a bit of fun with my camera’s aperture and iso speed – fully taking advantage of the white light streaming through the window, and this ethereal looking shoot was the product.
lately, i’ve had this (ridiculous) obsession with leather. and believe me when i say it didn’t help when i went shopping the other day and ended up in cotton on, face to face with a pair of leather joggers. i stood and stared at them, as if i were in a cliched romcom. the world moved in slow motion and all i could do was look at these pants… and laugh. i thought they were absolutely ridiculous, so of course, i bought them. lol. even now, whenever i talk about them, i laugh, because they are so weird (and my family hates them) but they are, like, the single greatest thing i own at the moment.
