Appropriately titled, as today, September 4th (4 – fitting, no?), is the queen of RnB’s birthday.
Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter, aka Mrs Carter, aka Sasha Fierce, aka Queen B, turns 31 today – hip hip hooray!
I’ve been a fan of Beyonce since before Destiny’s Child had Michelle in it, and it has been a dream of mine to see her majesty perform in the flesh. I will love her until the end of time (see what I did there?) – she is classy, she is smart, she is inspiring, she is down to earth, and calling her beautiful is the understatement of the century.
Beyonce released the music video to one of my all-time favourite songs on the album 4, it is something that I aim to aspire towards. I’ll post the video and the lyrics below, it’s a truly inspiring song.
Beyonce, I love you, I hope you had a wonderful and blessed birthday and I wish you nothing but more happiness and bliss 🙂 oh and maybe a concert in South Africa 😉
