Happy 20th birthday to me! Besides having to change my age on all of my social media, today marks a new chapter in my life (the end of my teen years and the beginning of my twenties/real adulthood) and I am both excited/nervous as all hell for it. But bring it on ?
After a year of effectively living by myself in a new city, I feel like I’ve got this whole adulting thing on lock.

This was alternatively titled, “Why are you wearing all black?” “I’m mourning myself”, but I found that a little too long, albeit incredibly apt for the last few weeks. Happy Spring Day everyone! I’m currently in Joburg and I can truly say that spring has sprung – which is a tad unfortunate because I packed zero appropriate clothing. All I can hope is that by the time I get back to the Cape, they’d have received the memo about spring too.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “When Jesus says ‘yes’, nobody can say ‘no’?” Lately, that’s how I’ve been feeling. With test week having come to an end and Cape Town deciding to tease us with spring/summer, I’ve been ridiculously happy lately and I just want this feeling to last. I mean, I even wrote a test on Monday night but when I came home to this beautiful Vera Moda 3/4 jacket courtesy of Superbalist, I forgot all about it!
