So on Friday, I filmed this tutorial and I didn’t get a chance to upload it because the editing process took forever. Not only am I using new software, but I tried talking in this video and y’all – I talk alot. Trying to cut it down to this still very long 16 minutes was a mighty challenge – but I hope you enjoyed the video and got to see a bit more of my personality in the process!
I was very excited to use these products – my mom recently went to the USA and when she asked me if I wanted anything, all I told her was to go to Sephora for me. She walked in the store and this was the first things that she had seen and I actually screamed when she asked me if I wanted it because duh! I’m a huge Nikkie stan and I’m so happy to say I got this collection! Before I had it in person, I did a lot of research on it and I was expecting to be disappointed – especially because I also have dark skin and Nikkie is notoriously pale. But when I swatched the products, they looked amazing on me (Nikkie even retweeted my tweet with the swatches!)! Sadly, there are a few colours that I probably wont have much use for, but I was impressed that the orange blush and highlighter looked as amazing as they did.
Beyond that, the palette comes with liquid eyeliner, loose glitter (which is a mission to find here – trust me, I’ve tried!) and a limited edition mini mascara! And fear not – you can buy the collaboration in SA through Laboutique.za. They sell legit international brands. You could buy it for yourself but the shipping and duties costs are such a turn off for me, ha! I’d rather pay the IG mark up.
