outfit | outfit of the day: 12/4/2014

hello readers 🙂 if you follow me on twitter, you would know that the past few weeks/month has not been the easiest (hence why i chose medicine as the song for this post… hehe) but i thought that my blog deserved a little outfit post. it was a quick little shoot done by yours truly with a tripod in my bedroom, hence why there are no detail shots, only my shoes (and my new hair) because i especially needed a reason to blog about them.

ever since balenciaga came onto the scene with their cut out boots, i’ve been dying for a pair of my own that doesn’t have the $1 500,00 price tag. i had my cut out heels from mr price as seen here but i can only wear them so often. these dear boots are from cotton on in sandton and i’ve thoroughly enjoyed subjecting them to the ‘socks and shoes’ trend (they make all shoes + heels way more comfortable. abuse this trend before it’s not cool anymore!!!)

what i wore
  • cardigan from forever 21
  • peplum top from cotton on
  • jeans from cotton on
  • socks from cotton on
  • boots from cotton on (it was a cotton on type of day, it seems)
  • handbag from mr price
i also got carried away and had a mini ‘artsy’ selfie sesh. read more to see those pics 🙂

Great photos! I can’t believe you took those with a tripod. Whenever I try to do that, trust me, the results never look so good!
