hello friends and welcome to the new DearSolo Blog! as you can see, i’ve moved on up to a big girl domain, changed up my theme, logo, etcetcetc! this has been a new (and pricey) endeavour for me, so suffice it to say, i have to suck it up and keep going because there’s no turning back now! no time to fear failure, fear rejection, become despondent or anything like that – i’ve committed to taking the next step with my blog and now i’m just excited to see where it will lead me!
i really love that the decision to redo/revamp my blog coincided with the ending of my matric year – i literally write my last high school exam forever tomorrow! as of 11:30am on tuesday the 25th of november 2014, i am officially (f)unemployed! at least for the next two months before i start university. in lieu of sounding corny and like michael buble, it really is a new dawn, a new day, a new life for me and i am feeling pretty good! change is good!
this long holiday will allow me to do some travelling (istanbul on wednesday, cape town a few weeks later – wee!), some fashion shoots (photographer willing), some more writing, arty things – and who knows! the opportunities are endless and i can’t wait 🙂
there is also a competition on the cards, ready to prepare you for the summertime parties you’ll be attending, so keep a look out!
