It’s so strange to think about how five minutes ago is was 2010 and now there’s four months left of 2013. I read an interesting explanation about why time is moving so fast: it’s because of our frame of reference. When we were five years old, a year felt like a century because we had only had five of them. So as our number of years increases, the fraction of our lives that it is decreases, so a year is still a year, it just feels shorter because we’ve had less of them. Trippy, right? 2013’s also kind of like that C.S. Lewis quote: “Isn’t it funny how day by day, nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different.“
But moving on.
I had time before I went to church this morning so I thought why not take some outfit photos? My jacket is from Cotton On, my tank top is from Mr Price, my shoes are from Topshop, the make-shift turban is a scarf from Pick ‘n Pay and the skirt was a gift from my mom (I’m thinking of doing a DIY on skater skirts – they’re relatively basic, I just need to find the time).
This upcoming week is so busy, so I’ll blog when I blog. Lol.
